Chris is a leading asset management and capital markets professional with 20+ years of global investment product strategy, development, implementation, and distribution experience.

During more than a decade at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Chris held numerous leadership roles in both the United States and Asia. He most recently held the position of Managing Director and Senior Investment Strategist in New York City with responsibility for developing and delivering their multi-asset, multi-income and multi-alternative investment strategies as well as for selected international equity strategies including Europe, Emerging Markets, Frontier Markets, and Latin America. Prior to that, Chris held the positions of Head of Product, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan, in Singapore, and Head of Structured Products - Americas, in New York City.

Chris started his career as an attorney at Whitman, Breed, Abbott & Morgan concentrating upon securitization and taxation. After Whitman, Chris attained more than a decade of legal and capital markets experience focused upon equity derivatives, retail structured products, and structured finance, with world-class institutions including Bankers Trust and General Re Financial Products, Goldman, Sachs & Co., and ABN AMRO, before taking up his Managing Director positions at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent in the UK, and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University. Chris is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
